Orion drifted through a nebula of fire and light, where stars were born and shaped by the hands of ancient cosmic beings. He landed on a platform of molten stone, its surface warm beneath his feet.

Before him stood a massive forge, its flames reaching toward the sky. A figure worked at its heart-a being of glowing metal, with eyes like white-hot coals.

"Who are you?" Orion asked.

"I am the Forger of Stars," the being replied. "I shape the light that will one day become worlds."

Orion watched as the Forger molded a new star, its surface shimmering with newborn heat.

"Can you teach me?" Orion asked.

The Forger paused. "You are a carrier of stories, not a shaper of stars. But you can carry the fire of creation."

Orion stepped forward, and the Forger placed a tiny spark in his trunk. It glowed warm and steady.

"Carry this," the Forger said. "Share it with worlds that need light."

Orion rose into the sky, the spark nestled in his heart.

He would carry the fire of creation across the cosmos, planting it wherever hope had dimmed.

And as he traveled, the spark grew brighter, a reminder that even in the darkest reaches of space, the light of creation could always be kindled anew. The End.

The Rhine was wide and gray, the water moving slowly, the banks lined with trees. Lena stood at the edge, Alex beside her, looking at the river that had been the last barrier between the Allies and the heart of Germany.

"My grandfather crossed here," Lena said. "In 1945. He said the river was full of bodies."

Alex put his hand on her shoulder. "We don't have to stay long."

She shook her head. "I need to see it. To understand."

They walked along the bank, past the memorials, past the plaques that told the story of the war. The sun was setting, painting the water orange and gold.

"There's a cemetery up the road," Alex said. "Americans. Germans. Buried side by side."

They drove to the cemetery, walked among the crosses, read the names. Lena stopped at a grave-a young soldier, nineteen years old, from Ohio. The same state as her grandfather.

"He could have been friends with my grandfather," she said. "They could have fought together. Died together."

Alex knelt, placed a small stone on the grave. "Now they're remembered together."

They stayed until the sun set, until the stars appeared, until the world grew quiet. The war was long over. But the dead were still here, waiting to be remembered.

"Lena," Alex said.

"Yeah?"

"Why do you keep coming? To these places? To the graves?"

She looked at the crosses, at the names, at the price of freedom. "Because someone has to. Because if we forget, then they died for nothing."

He took her hand. "Then we'll keep coming. Together."

They walked back to the car, drove toward the inn, toward the next chapter. The past was behind them. But its lessons were with them, always.

And Lena would never forget.
